It is very satisfying to learn about and use these abilities in the right way, as it increases chance for success while telling a fun story along the way.

There's no dialogue to speak of but the sounds of the island in conjunction with the crumbling remains tell their own story in a way that, to me, is much more effective and satisfying to decipher than a few exposition filled cutscenes.

The game comes with 35 fighters, three games, and countless spinoffs worth of plot to cover, and it aims to end the story started in the original Blaz Blue in a conclusive, satisfying way.
