There
are two main multiplayer
modes in Skylanders SWAP Force, outside of
being able to
play the entire
story mode co-op.
In fact, if you
're playing the game with more interest in other aspects like progressing through the
story or building your kingdom, you could just set the battle
mode to auto and it will make lots of the tactical decisions for you.
In both the
story mode and Free
Play, there
are plenty of bonuses and secrets to
be found, including cheats.
However, once you beat the mission in
story mode, you
are able to
play with any character you have unlocked in the game's «Free
Mode.»
The trailer that you saw today
was scenes from the in - game cinematic
story mode, but one thing that
's kinda cool that we
're doing with the
story mode is... Even though it
's one over-arching
story, there
are unique experiences that you'll only get to
play in the
story mode.
All of these gameplay features
are presented in a dark
story inspired by classic zombie movies with a gritty and engrossing campaign that can
be played with up to four players in co-op
mode.
The single player
story mode isn't overly long, but there
is the ability to
play in co-op
mode.
Most interesting
is the challenge
mode, where players
play through
story missions in score attack fashion.
When it comes to single player content, the only
modes are free battle and a

play through a tournament as each of the 25 available teams.

Mode, to get her to appear a second time can require you to do things like capturing a certain number of keeps, killing specific enemies before any of your allies get injured, whereas in
Story Mode, you could
be tasked with doing one of the things I've mentioned, but also have to do it when
playing a mission on Hard or even Lunatic

While the
story is short and sweet, its multiple
modes of
play are also the cause of the bags underneath my eyes.
Along with a lengthy
story mode filled with secrets and collectibles that can only
be unlocked via subsequent
play throughs with different characters, each property represented in the game gets its own adventure level to explore.
I spent somewhere between six and seven hours working my way through the game's
story mode, slogging through chaotic battles, fighting predictable bosses (wait until they
're vulnerable, hit, repeat) and fretting over puzzles that couldn't
be solved until I came back through with different characters in Free

The only let down in Under Night In - Birth for me personally
is the
story mode, and anyone that
's played a few Arc System Works games will know exactly what I

're playing solo, the lone way to get into a match
is to

Story mode.

is undoubtedly more watching than
playing, but when the whole of the rest of the Street Fighter 5 package
is game, I don't see an issue with the
story mode being this devoted.

was one of the first Mario games I had ever
played it

play with friends even though I technically
played it by myself however one thing that I never did
was beat
story mode with all characters I always just did one character and
played everything else that
