Unlike most games where you go into the game
selection screen, and then onto the career
mode to be given a run down on the
story, Pro Race Driver wastes no time to get you right in the midst of the storyline.
There are some good elements however, the large song
selection and there are various game
modes to enjoy; from survival which is pretty much horde and the classic
story mode.
That being said, the
story mode does have a mild level of replay ability through means of being given the option to play two player co-operatively with a friend, having the chapters littered with collectable items usable in multiplayer and by being given a
selection of different difficulty levels.
Once you've completed the
story and liberated Hope County, you can tackle Far Cry Arcade, an entirely new
mode where you can play online in traditional multiplayer deathmatches, or build and play a endless
selection of custom levels.
Onto the games
story mode, you start off with a small
selection of fighters and as usual Goku is one of the first playable characters.
Outside of the main
story mode, the
selection is unsubstantial.
There are two multiplayer
modes, both of which are playable online or as a split - screen game; Road Rage is entirely vehicle - based and features a
selection of races and rallies similar to the driving / racing sub games in the solo campaign, set on six maps, and Wasteland Legends which is a 2 - player co-op
mode that allows you to play through nine scenarios chronicled in Rage's solo campaign
story and using locations from it.
The latest instalment in the series, Samurai Warriors 4's
story mode features a
selection of campaigns, with only a select few available from the start.
