I was assuming that the tartness of the rhubarb would require that I add a little more sugar
than most crumble
recipes, so I took a gander at some
other strawberry rhubarb crisp and crumble
recipes.
I used frozen cherries instead of
strawberries (that's what I had on hand)
other than that I followed the
recipe exactly and it was perfect!
The banana and pineapple really help to sweeten this
recipe, but there are more
strawberries than other ingredients so the end result is simply a sweet
strawberry sorbet that reminds me of the texture of ice cream thanks to the banana.
I used
strawberry yogurt in place of the plain yogurt, but
other than that I followed the
recipe.
