I usually drink a fruit
smoothie (bananas, blueberries,
strawberries, apples, a tsp of cinnamon and a tsp of curcuma) for
breakfast.
Berry Coconut
Breakfast Smoothie 1/2 can organic coconut milk (whole fat, unsweetened) 2 Tbsp unsweetened shredded organic coconut1 / 4 tsp stevia powder (or to taste) 1 tsp organic vanilla extract or almond extractone scoop vanilla protein powder6 frozen organic
strawberries (or other organic berry) 2 - 3 ice cubes Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend.
I have a small blueberry
strawberry and half a banana
breakfast smoothie.
Right now we eat
breakfast smoothies (Blueberry, mango, and
strawberry), sweet potatoes, kale, spinach, and a mix of stir fry veggies (but we eat them boiled).
The immune - boosting combination of sweet
strawberries (vitamin C, iodine, manganese), creamy squash (magnesium, fiber, folate) and cashews (vitamins E, K and B6), and the «topping» of anti-inflammatory cinnamon, iron heavy mulberries, and heart - healthy oats creates a
smoothie that tastes sweet enough to be a dessert, but is healthy enough to drink for
breakfast!
Around two hours after
breakfast, I'll make a
smoothie, and usually go for a handful of frozen spinach, frozen
strawberries, almond butter, hazelnut milk, a squeeze of lemon, ground chia seed, a dash of cinnamon, collagen peptides or protein depending how hungry I am, and some adaptogen mushroom powder.
For
breakfast I had steel - cut oats and a banana / blueberry /
strawberry smoothie with soy milk.
