a striker coming to the club.

Come to think of it, if not having a proven
striker and very rich bench has been hindering the
club from clinching major trophies all these years, sincerely, it baffles me why the

to risk getting good and enough players, if not for anything, for the sake of seeing what would result from taking such step.
Chadli, whose other goal in his impressive recent run
came in last weekend's 3 - 1 win at Crystal Palace, can evidently finish, but is he good enough
to be the main back - up
striker for a
club with Premier League title ambitions?
Its seems
to me that both the
club and it's fans are not serious.Anytime Arsenal sign a youngster from another team who is dubbed the next whatever people
come out and say Arsenal have just signed a youngster who may or may not make it and that Arsene should sign ready made. They say it
to seem as if it's a bad thing. Now that Chris Willock is leaving I'm anticipating that a lot of people are soon going
to be blaming the same Wenger who actually likes bringing in youngsters.Anyway you have
to look at the reasons he lfet. It's for game time and
to him he thinks its a good choice. The bright side is that he's not Arsenal's most talented player. The likes of Donyell Malen, Yassin Fortune, Reiss Nelson in my eyes have more potential as wingers.I also think Arsenal should be very excited about Eddie Nketiah and Stephy Mavididi. They can be world class
strikers in the future particularly Eddie.

to entertain projects again.

and i saw the u21 highlights today, the kid iis good, and will hopefully be great so excited
to have chuba as an up an comer if it was up
to me our
striker order would go welbeck, giroud, cambell, chuba and sannago would be the one playing with the u21 but i feel chuba's time will
come, and he's gonna have a huge roll in our
club
I even thought top
clubs were in for him. Some three or 2 seasons back many here were debating why he should be our main
striker. As soon as you mention any other
strikers name people would
come out with stats and many things defending him.Even Wenger has defended him blindly in the past.People say Wenger's stubborn yeah. But don't we know that there's a reason why everything happens?Honestly speaking he's the reason why Arsene Wenger has failed
to sign a top notch
striker because he still believes in him.The funny thing is we signed Welbeck at that time who
to me did nothing before
to be the main man here.People keep saying Welbeck is hardworking and that he works his socks off.But the question is was that our reason for signing him.Welbeck being signed
to challenge Giroud tells me a lot about Giroud's quality.Even Walcott (no offence
to him) who has zero CF qualities was even chosen over him for a string of games and all in all I think he did well but has too many defeciencies for that role. We've compromised as a
club and it'll
come back
to bite us.

to, with the form all the other English bpl
strikers are in he has alot
to prove but i believe in him, remember our boy welbz scored his first hatrick for us in his first season giroud only got his first this year after how long being at the
club...........
So the news reported by The Sun about the Nigeria international
striker Odion Ighalo and the acceptance of his current
club Watford that they may have
to sell him in the summer should
come as music
to the ears of the prof.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the
club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due
to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough
to overcome such difficulties: not
to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player
coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real
striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this
club's failure
to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled
to take their sideways soccer
to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Spoiler Alert people, we are not getting anyone in the front
striker position OTHER than what we already have, there was a story in the star yestrday about the 250 million wenger is looking
to spend on the likes of Marco Ruess ect ect and I really can not believe that after all these years the Prof will change his ways and spend all that money and evern if he was going
to he needs
to pull his finger out as all the top players are being strongly linked with other
clubs, meanwhile we wait for the brat Vardy
to make up his mind when we know he is highly unlikely
to come to us another summer of dissapointment for us as wenger has already stated that Giroud will lead the line next season.

It is easy
to understand Sherwood's stance on the issue, while he will be reluctant
to let his star
striker move
to another
club, he is well aware of the fact that Benteke really should be playing for a bigger team and should a big - money offer
come in, the former Spurs boss will certainly not stand in the way of the deal, so I believe that Arsenal can get him if Wenger is indeed interested.
Should this even be a topic?Giroud is a player of average quality always surrounded by good players.I just don't get. It's as if only Arsenal fans rate him. This was a player who was bought
to be the leading
striker at Arsenal and after his years of failure which many deny he's now become a super sub?How laughable is that. From failure
to super sub.If the so called world class
striker we're signing goes out with an injury for about five months who
comes in then.It seems
to me people lack vision. Why is it always Giroud Giroud Giroud? After so many seasons people are still debating what souldn't even be debatable.I've lost count of the number of times he's been talked about here. This is the problem with our
club. It's just not ruthless. This is a player who should have been gone long ago but due
to him being French he still gets the chances. We won't miss him when he goes and I'd like
to see if he'd stand out in a smaller
club.

Giroud had reserved hopes of being the
club's first - choice
striker coming into the new campaign, but this record deal looks certain
to see him fall down the pecking order, and with the World Cup

The 30 year - old has always declared his wish
to stay with the
club, as he seeks
to earn a Premier League title in North - London, but he has also expressed his intention

striker, a reality which will prove highly unlikely should his international counterpart
come in.

to leave this one alone...

club that didn't appreciate your talents.

striker Arsene Wenger will turn

to stall their transfer plans for other potential
strikers whilst we await a decision from Vardy and although the
club doesn't want

comes a point where we need
to turn our attention elsewhere.
come on... this is the dead cat tactic... we should be talking about why there is no serious move for two world class
strikers without which we will have another failed season and why players like the whippet, ox mert and campbell have not been told they are surplus
to requirements in a
club with ambition
to win top trophies... oh hang on maybe wenger is the man for the england job!!!!!
All the
strikers fans been crying out for there is no way Giroud would have benched them and Morata is up and
coming while Giroud is about
to join the 30 and over
club.
arsenal as a big and rich
club they didn't spent so much money
to buy best players in the past years like the other big
clubs so this time it is a must that arsenal buys best defender, midfielder and
striker and as well keep Sanchez valuing the service that he will be giving next season mote than # 50 m which will also protect him not
to play against arsenal at least for the
coming season, and who knows after wards..
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial for someone with straight ahead speed
to succeed, the
club actually contemplated giving him a chance
to play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up play talents would been on display for all
to see... these are not the actions of a
club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a
club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources
to purchases a world - class
striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded
to allow this ridiculous experiment
to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled for a position that shouldn't have been theirs for the taking in the first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of
clubs who aspire
to win at the highest levels... as for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our
club and his obvious desire
to enjoy the societal advantages that
come with playing in North London for a
club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing
to try
to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
But obviously with the
strikers that Barca have
to choose from he has not had many chances
to show his worth in Cataluña, making just 55 appearances since his arrival and it seems that he is definitely going
to be leaving the
club in the next transfer window so perhaps he could finally be
coming to Arsenal at a bargain price.
Lukaku for me is a firm favourite if Wenger can somehow
come to agreement with Everton, but if not there are a fair few
strikers already out there that could be what the
club is looking for.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but
to be considered the best you have
to bring more than just assists
to the table... for me, a top player has
to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need
to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability
to take their game
to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him
to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed
to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important
to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class
striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances
to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it
came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned
to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal...
to me that goes directly
to this
club's inability
to surround him with the necessary players
to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our
club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance
to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
This is because As mentioned, 20 goals on average is a not a bad score
come the end of the season, the problem is that he is not good enough
to be the
club's main
striker!

striker linked with our

to me that the time has
come for Arsenal

striker Lukas Podolski
to leave the

striker Yaya Sanogo
to go on loan
to a Premiership
club this month, but it now seems clear that the 21 year - old would much prefer a move back
to his homeland with Bordeaux, and the French giants are keen on
coming to an arrangement with the Gunners.
Arsenal have been linked with this
striker for a long time, almost ever since he first
came to the Premier League three years ago from the Belgian
club Genk.
