strong narrative behind it and it works hand in hand with the game.

Personally I'm hoping for the latter, seeing that co-op play tends to come at the expense of a focused
narrative — and that would just be a shame, given how
strong the storyline
behind Arkham Asylum was.
Some of the developers
behind Firewatch worked on the massively successful Walking Dead titles by Telltale Games, so expect a gripping
narrative and a
strong sense of player choice in how you interact with Delilah.
In my eyes, the
narrative is split into two forms, the moment to moment battle against the machine lifeforms and the existential search for the truth
behind the origins of androids and machines; every now and then these two threads overlap creating some excellent and disturbing highlights, but for the most part the latter element is
stronger than the former.
