It's hard
for kids to feel mentally
strong when they're bombarding themselves with put - downs or when they're predicting catastrophic
outcomes.
Is
stronger academic performance related to better life
outcomes for kids and better economic
outcomes for nations?
This isn't to say parents don't need to take power and fight vigorously
for improving education
for their
kids, nor should it be said that good parenting and
strong family structures can't be helpful in improving educational
outcomes.
Going forward, our work to improve and increase great educational opportunities
for kids and communities will be much
stronger because of the ability to link practices to
outcomes.
