I will say this turns out much creamier and has a fresher,
stronger nut flavor and you can personalize the sweetness or lack thereof and it is more cost effective and less wasteful.

So many great grain free options and I think any thick
nut or seed butter would work for this, possibly give it a
stronger flavor though but not in a bad way.
I have used macadamia
nuts and they work really well, but you really need to like the taste of macadamia
nuts because the taste as
strong whereas with the cashews, it's a more neutral
flavor.
You can soak them in your favorite
nut milk and customize the pudding any way you'd like, since chia seeds don't have a
strong flavor.

The taste of the

strong flavors (like chocolate) or in things where the
nut flavor enhances the dish (like in almond pastry cream) It is available in some stores but is not widely distributed so I order it online (amazon is a good source).
But for ease, the flour would work the same as not roasting real
nuts, just know it will not be as
strong of a hazelnut
flavor.

nut is paired with other
stronger flavors — like rich salmon — its natural butteriness really shines through.
Just make sure it's brewed nice and

But while the macadamia
nuts are soft and I think they could be used with a high powered blender for the filling, they also have a
stronger flavor than cashews... But it's worth a try in my opinion.
