nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow

@Nothing Changed i agree about 5 years ago, personally i'm finding our game exiting to watch with a strong belief that no mater what the score is we will win the game, obviously we don't win every game but the belief is there for me and i'm enjoying watching more then last season, we have to except that some teams in Europe are almost impossible to catch and City is coming close to that point of dominating years to come and only Man - U or Chelsea could muster up a small challenge, sad but unfortunately we have to face up to reality.
this man is so self - absorbed... does he really think that we should feel so honored that he chose to stay with little old us... does he not understand that many of us would have literally driven him to the ends of the earth if he promised never to return... has anyone noticed that the only teams he says are interested in him are some of the biggest clubs in the world whose managers spend freely, follow through on their promises or are terminated, listen to their fan - bases, have a lot of strong personalities within their squads, rarely play their top players out of position, win against their top rivals or suffer the wrath, don't blame the ref after every loss and embrace their former stars... even if his stories had any truth to them, he would last but a cup of coffee

I too also know that we look weak at the back but i also believe they have learnt from there mistakes last season and have a stronger unity this season going into the 3rd season with the team wenger has put together without losing key players and adding real Quality and world class that i havent seen before because none of our history says we bought our trophies we won them with all the unexpected beliefs and never bought into the society and modern game we seen before us not one of our legends were already labelled for they are today before they came to us The made a name for themselfs in our Jersey and build a foundation of what we represent today Before Arsene Wenger and with him We are a club that overachieve and under promise Everything we've done has be our very own unique way of doing it not the way other clubs are ahiceving i for one will not Follow the Man City's ambitions Chelseas Manchester united or anyone elses

The likes of us and Man U might not be quite as strong as we once were but there are a lot more clubs on a higher level and even lower table teams are stronger, plus there is a real belief from smaller clubs that anyone can beat anyone where as some teams might have played for a draw a few years ago now everyone goes out to try and win every game no mater the opponent.
I agree with those odds simply because i believe the some team that were stronger than Arsenal last season have done some really good business to further strengthen there squads, Bernardo Silva & Kyle Walker for Man City with what they already have plus what pep will add plus its gonna be his second season so he will be a bit more familiar with the EPL and this may make them really tough to beat, Tiemoue Bakayoko & Antonio Rudiger Chealsea plus a top striker and Chelsea will sill be one of the teams to beat, Tottenham are gonna be solid, they've kept the team together and Victor Lindelof & Romelu Lukaku for Man - u and Mourinho is not done yet if the rumors are true and there also the Mourinho second season thing, as much as i'd like to be hopeful for next season, i really do nt think Lacazette and Kolasinac are enough to make us challenge for the league plus having Europa league will give the team less time to recover for the weekend games, the formation change is the only thing i see can make the difference.
Think it's safe to say that the Men of Team CyF would tell you Bowling just might not be their strong suit.
I» v been a fan of Arsenal for 12 years, when i became an Arsenal's fan, Arsenal didn't win the premier league even once and have seen Arsenal getting wrecked badly by teams like Man utd and Chelsea, but also in these times i have seen beautiful football from Arsenal that no other team can play and this year's squad even without Alexis is the strongest Arsenal squad i have seen since i became it's fan.

The problem with Wenger is that he has not the killer instinct like coachs as ferguson or mourinho, they have this winning mentality who make them able to do anything in order to win, even cheating, wenger is just a tryer, he does not give it all in the fight. The team was obviously missing 2 centers backs and one strong DM, he did not address the problem, the striker issue was addressed only by luck, if Man U did not get falcao for any reason, there was no back up plan for any other striker, remember he was in Roma.I believe his age has something to do with that as he shows the stubborness of senile people.I don t see Arsenal as a force until he moves on somewhere else.the board too is responsible for not kwowing football and trusting him blindly even when he clearly fail his duties.

I started googling way back in may who could we be buying gonzalo higuian, julio cesar and wayne rooney but realize going by history wenger just as no interest in buying world class players, he wants 2 buy d grade players and turn them up to koscienly nd nasri that will take years while da arsenal faithful pay handsome figures for dismal performances, fans allowed wenger 2 get away when he gets away with these lucky matches of fenerbache been strong on paper but a waste of tym on the pitch, also it happen at bayern but they put a slighty weak team but wenger runt his mouth around of how good da team was after that 2 - 0 win, not forgetting it was bould that got the team defense looking solid while wenger moan about referee decisions and no blame on team, I just feel we (arsenal) have allowed wenger and co to misuse us, so now our main target aim is benzema yet giroud plays more often than him for france, can any1 see how wenger is lowing our standards and expectations at arsenal, I wil be over da moon if wenger does not sign an extension wit us, after the gilberto days and disaterous results and teams we play, his approach to the game defensely which is pathetic and his annoying behaviour. So what if manu and chelski haven't really bought they are already strong it was seen last week now we should be worried about our selves since that villa defeat, jst imagine what the man's and london money maniac's are goin 2 do to us, I can see it already coming from wenger, if we find the right player we will buy him, after sept2, we didn't find da right player but the squad can challenge for the title, its so sick having 2 hear that crap, just take him psg, I just wish the fans would say we had enough of this bullshit transfer policies its time we stood up against these pigs of directors by protesting!

True, not a lot has happened among our immediate competition... ManU have made just one modest buy, but arguably don't need a lot having lost only one key player (Scholes), plus we know they can afford whoever they want and the talk is at the level of Ronaldo, Lemonsquashki, Fibreglass etc etc... Tottenham are hamstrung by the Bale leaving threat, but if he does eventually go I believe it will only make them stronger (Spuds a one - man team with Bale, but strengthened all over the park with 80 - 100mil to spend)... ManC have spent close to 60mil on two players, (thank Dennis they missed out on Falcao and others, but they're not finished yet and still looking at the very top level... Pool have snapped up Mignolet and some useful cheapies (Kolo for free, eg) and finally sold Carroll for a decent amount, so can do more business... and Chelsea can pick up pretty much who they want when they want, so will surely be in there soon.

As I mentionned above that ive just watched all the Arsenal game 2007 and 2008, Ive personnaly gave up with this idea of strngthenin our defence. Its obvious, we need CDM, and I strongly recommend Toure for that job, but finally, I found out our main PBM: AW is a man who beleives in: THE BEST DEFENCE IS ATTACKIN.He has built the team that way. When I watched our 2007 games, i could see that most of these teams who has defeated us this season played exactly the same style of game last season but they couldnt perform so much as our attackin side were so strong for them so that they were always held at their own defensive side. The game is completely Psycological. At the 1st 10mn of the game, they try to attack @their best, but just when we start attackin then all their mdlfldr start to pull back coz most of our attack are all dangerous. And this is what makes the diffrence between the so called BIG 4 and the rest of the league. The Pbm isnt really that our defence is so weak, It is our attack which is WEAK.Durin the first half of this season, Our guys couldnt perform any attackin strategy planned by AW, coz 1st: they were new to it, coz they have only practiced it durin trainin session.2 nd: Some of the key players are gone.3 rd: Even AW did nt know where exactly is the best position for those new players, the likes of Nasri, Vela, and some of them were all subsitute last year.Plus they are all young players who can improve and change their style game after game.
Only four teams in the entire top - flight have shipped less goals than Fulham this season, while only Man City has a stronger away defence, however there are just two other sides who have scored fewer than Fulham's tally of 22 goals.
No team has drawn more matches than Mark Hughes» men all season, so in the knowledge that they boast the second strongest away defence in the league, but also one of the weakest away offence, it wouldn't be at all surprising to hear that the draw is a popular betting choice this weekend, particularly as the previous four encounters with Wigan at the DW have ended all - square.
A lot of patience is required from Holloway's side, I'm not sure whether they'll have enough as 90 minutes with Birmingham can be frustrating at times, just ask Aston Villa, Bolton, Man City and Sunderland, teams who are all very strong at home but failed to overhaul the Blues on home soil.
One of the biggest issues that Klopp faces this season is how to fit in all of his best players into the team; his philosophy requires width, pace, penetration and a strong four - man defence, he also likes to employ a 4 -2-3-1 formation that allows for quick counter-attacks with width, and offers rigidity and solidity when defending.
