Rick i
struggled for over 20 years as a christian in the end i said whats the
point of
struggling i feel powerless and useless so i gave in to sin that did nt work either but i was so sick of
struggling and seeing the same results i became more miserable and even more powerless in my
struggle with sin.I decided one day no more enough was enough i needed to get my life back in order. That was years ago and it was a process over 5 years that God dealt with all those things in my life that needed fixing most days i just said to him Lord i cant do this i just do nt have the strength and he said thats okay you cant do it anyway just trust me.So now now i l know what it means to be an overcomer in Christ sin does not have the victory over me anymore because Jesus is my strength in my weakness.I know i cant live a christian life in my strength but i certainly can with Christ in me he is my strength and in him i am an overcomer. If this is speaking to others just want to let you know that you to can be an overcomer you do nt have to
struggle or battle with your walk or feel miserable because you give in to sin there is a better way.Just admit that you cant do it and ask
for his help
for the holy spirit is in you and he is the one who helps us in our weakness.regards brentnz
The theologian must be immersed in the
struggle for transforming society and proclaim the message of the gospel from that
point.
To deny something without any basis in fact when simple observation
points to root
struggle for existence in every creature reflects more a heart of stone than a mind of intelligence.
The
struggle of relational theology to arrive at a coherent affirmation of this
point discloses one of its weaknesses as an appropriate theology
for Christian belief.
An Athanasius, inspired by a genuinely Christian monasticism, not only had a more (comparative to his times) wholesome understanding of human sexuality and marriage, as well as women s ministerial roles in the church, but also
struggled (to the
point of being expelled from his diocese five times by those supporting the imperium)
for an orthodoxy which would confess the God revealed in Christ as a community of consubstantial Persons.

but the woman or our society keep the war against Rome going
for 1000 years then another 1000 when England took over the assault, their valiant

I was tempted at first to give maybe a 10
point list of advice
for parents going through deconstruction in front of their kids... things like let them see the books you read and answer their curiosities about them; teach your kids how to think, not how to believe; tell them everything you're going through and let them deal with what it means
for them; ask them what they believe and listen objectively and engage in conversation about it; openly share your
struggles with what you're going through with the church and let them process it themselves, and so on.

There is here a double credibility test: A proclamation that does not hold forth the promises of the justice of the kingdom to the poor of the earth is a caricature of the Gospel; but Christian participation in the

Phrygian to me i sense that you are
struggling with issues in your mind that you cant reconcile and these issues are affecting what you believe in your heart and therefore your faith in God.I had something similar happen to me recently regarding the story of the demon possessed man at one
point the demons begged Jesus to cast them into the pigs does that mean that Jesus was implicated with the work of satan. It cast my mind into doubt and then i began to question who God is.I prayed and sort the holy spirit
for an answer the answer i got was that Gods character never changes he is always holy righteous and sovereign why else would satan ask
for his permission. So the answer was that he allowed satans purpose to prevail so that we can see that satans intention is always to destroy it may well have been that the pigs were his anyway. As they were
for the gentile nations who offered the pigs to their demon Gods.Just as satan can not change who he is the destroyer the thief the liar God can not change who he is when we realise that despite what we see going on in the world God is still the same yesterday today and forever. The time is coming when those that have hurt others will be judged
for there wickedness as we serve a holy and just God.Just as it was in the times of Noah so it is with this this generation that as the wickedness reachs its zenith then the Lord will return to judge the nations. He is coming again and we need to be ready it is not a time to be caught sleeping.brentnz
