A
"stud dog" refers to a male dog that is specifically used for breeding purposes.

Most
stud dog owners will be honest with you about what their dogs are producing, their strengths and weaknesses, and what you can expect.
Likewise, owners
of stud dogs shall not accept for breeding any bitch showing these same defects.
