Teams of
students from across the country have traveled to Washington in recent years to compete in
Cooking up Change, a national
contest that challenges high school
students to create meals that meet nutrition standards and can be easily replicated in schools.
Their new documentary Lunch Line (Uji Films) follows the story of six Chicago high school
students who enter a
cooking contest to create a healthier school lunch and end up serving their winning meal to congressional leaders and touring the White House with executive mansion chefs.
