focus on.

The three topics are: - Nature and Natural Form - Identity - Groups of Objects Each topic is introduced as a page of artists with images, and a
list of things that
students could
focus on, draw, photograph etc..
Even better, have
students use a social justice lens to generate a
list of concerns, and develop one of these as the
focus of their project.
You might use a method like the Question Formulation Technique to have
students generate many questions on a topic or
focus statement, and then help to narrow that
list to one overarching driving question.
There are many
lists of powerful verbs out there on the internet — like this one, for example — and they can serve as inspiration to make your project not only more challenging, but also
focused on having
students do something with the knowledge and content.

focus, or is it more important at the moment to attract new staff?

students generate their initial
list of questions, teachers can be ready with appropriate instructional moves to support their learning.

focus in on one or two related areas that might be of most interest to
students and also enable a good range of mathematics to be investigated.
As the competition for admission to top colleges has grown, many parents, schools, and
students themselves have emphasized top grades, leadership, and
lists of after - school clubs and sports — often at the expense of community service, ethical engagement, and a general

focus different from what special educators have been trying to instill in their
students all along?

students, on a space available basis, and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or academic achievement; (xv) a
student recruitment and retention plan, including deliberate, specific strategies the school will use to ensure the provision of equal educational opportunity as stated in clause (xiv) and to attract, enroll and retain a
student population that, when compared to
students in similar grades in schools from which the charter school is expected to enroll
students, contains a comparable academic and demographic profile; and (xvi) plans for disseminating successes and innovations of the charter school to other non-charter public schools.
In social studies,
students should
focus on connecting content around powerful ideas and concepts rather than on
lists of isolated dates and names (Brophy, 1992).
