bible in Greek» that is practiced among Christians is a simplified «plug in the word» effort, simply trying to replace Greek words with English words, and that does not work.

too get disgusted at those who claim the faith, never pray, never

Bible and worship the way the
bible tells you to, but as long as I still say I believe in God, then I am covered... just in case he is real... what a joke!
The god of the torah and
bible has
too many self - contradictions to be a valid being to either believe or disbelieve, and if there's nothing to test and
study with verifiable results, then it's pointless to discuss except as philosophy.
For me I will also say this, the
bible is a living testimony of how God spoke and walked with people and the stories

too study with a plain
bible as I want to ruminate on what the word says, and what the Spirit is trying to say unfettered by someone else's opinions.
But I also believe that we stifle God's whisperings to us by turning

studies from other Christians, and the notes in our
study Bibles.
I'm all for asking the Holy Spirit to teach us but I think that this
