program combines the
study of college - level general education courses and extensive course work
in science and animal health theory and practice designed to prepare graduates for careers as registered
veterinary technicians.
Sarah grew up

study in nursing skills, laboratory procedures, equine medicine and nursing, and livestock animals, as well as lab animal and exotic animal medicine.
While most of us think that only those with specialist credentials have this option, well - practiced generalists are valued experts
in field service departments,

Amanda attended Delaware Valley University
studying in the Small Animal Science
program and she plans to enroll
in the Certified
Veterinary Technician course with Penn Foster.

in the development of such
programs, as well as to
study all matters pertaining to activities of
veterinary technicians, and to advise the Board of Directors concerning the implementation of AVMA policy concerning such matters.2
