What is the
point of scientific
studies that
reinforce prejudices (i.e. pre-judgments) based on life experience?
A
study last year by the Congressional Management Foundation has already made this
point, and new research by Capitol Advantage (which reader Sonja has helpfully found on their site)
reinforces it:

study.

The only thing I find noteworthy is that it further
reinforces the
point that there is no scientific consensus on a best estimate for equilibrium climate sensitivity, which is entirely in agreement with the IPCC's statement in AR5 WG1 SPM: «No best estimate for equilibrium climate sensitivity can now be given because of a lack of agreement on values across assessed lines of evidence and
studies.»
In fact, rather than undermine the possibility that severe rises in sea levels might occur in the future, the Science
studies that Easterbrook cited as evidence for his
point actually
reinforce this scenario.
