the problem is that ppl read the
bible thats been translated, if you realy want to
know what was said youll need to
study hebrew... every letter has a meaning... every word isnt a perfect fit for english,, theres nuances and cultural differences that youll find,,, its a whole new thing to go back and look at the
bible through hebrew eyes,,, they arent required to look like us,,, were supposed to look more like them,,, yashua was a jew,,,, all the apostles were jews, yashua was sent to the lost sheep of the house of israel, not the gentiles, paul took it to the gentiles, and he never stopped being and living as a jew, the laws are very viable today, but they do nt give salvation, thats what yashua did...
I love how you have a piece written buy a guy who
knows more about what the
bible says in and out and in different translations than any poster here, someone who has
studied it for years and years,
knows its history, and the history of the time it was written, but people still don't believe what he is saying because of what they hear from a preacher on Sunday mornings.
Most agnostics and atheists were in your shoes, have
studied the
bible and more importantly the history behind it's composition but at some point most realized that the reason for the current focus of worship was
no more valid than worshiping any other god.

I have a sign with my ministry name its obvious that mim a christian and i talk to people i share the gospel and i do nt say so you want to believe now, or something like that I just share the gospel with them and they leave I do nt always
know if they got saved or not and I do invite them to a

bible and all aspects of it, you will see its weaknesses... for those who believe are

I think it means it's gonna be darn tough, I
know all the
bible study folks want to intepret it to suit themself, and I've heard them try to say it's not what it sounds like, but to me it means next to impossible, I mean you either take the
bible at it's word or you don't.
But do
know that I have put a lot of time into
studying this, and I do not take the
bible lightly.

study I ever took introduced me not only to the likes of Marcus Borg, John Shelby Spong, and Dominic Crossan, but also to a few fellow church members I'd
known for years, but had no idea they held beliefs similar to mine.

bible with JWs for many years before i came to the conclusion that we have the accurate knowledge of the
bible and help others come to
know what the

know many atheists who are atheists precisely because they started reading and

studied the
bible from front to cover to find out the date of «doomsday», when the same text says that not even the angels in heaven

To believe in anything other is foolishness, read the

no matter who is running for president, what is written is what is going to happen, as it has been for some time... so when our time comes the Lord is not going to ask, did you run for president?
The reason I reject it is because I
know (after extensive
study) that the
bible is NOT clear on any single sexual ethic.

know that the
bible has been changed over time from the fact that the available documents have been
studied and that also means omissions and from the fact that there have been several «standard»
bibles — one wouldn't need a «standard»
bible if they were all unchanged.
I had no choice, at least not that I

My mothers uncle was a Cathloc priest, and it is well
known amongst cathlocs that it is looked down upon to read the
