Featuring
stunning costumes designed by Mayes C. Rubeo (John Carter), incredible production design courtesy of Oscar - winner John Myhre (Memoirs of a Geisha, Chicago) and eye - popping art and set direction, oftentimes there's so much going on in the frame it's almost impossible to take it all in.
This juxtaposition is fully realized in
the stunning costume design by Ruth E. Carter who presents very traditional clothing for the citizens of Wakanda while dressing Black Panther, Killmonger, and the other warriors in harder, edgier materials.

The film may have benefitted from dedicating more of its runtime to the ravishing period flashbacks, whose set and
costume design are pretty
stunning.
The picture is finished by its
stunning (if that is the word) evocation of fifties drabness, courtesy of Eve Stewart's production
