It's still a little
over a month away from fall but this unfriendly
weather just got me thinking about pre-fall
styles.
I
styled this dress
over jeans in the summer but I wasn't sure I could make it work in colder
weather.
So, when the
weather took an unexpected dip
over the weekend, I experimented by layering this lightweight striped one (very similar to the Gap
style here, but for less!)
Though the
weather in South Florida hasn't really called for
over the knee boots yet (and it might never), I broke mine out to show you all how I'd
style it if we had a real Fall season.

For example, the TV
weather announcer would provide the following
style of summation: «tomorrow will range from a cool of 45 degrees in the morning to a high of 73 degrees by late afternoon» - they don't state that tomorrow's temperatures will have an anomaly of +0.03 degree
over the average baseline by late afternoon.
If we were to get another El Nino and suffer another 1998 -
style spike, you would surely dismiss it as a one - off - a veritable «
weather event» that could not be used to demonstrate a trend
over time.
