Sometimes certain
styles make more sense in one house or one
season of life than another, so it is totally acceptable to love or admire things that simply won't work in the house you are in.
A brand new all -
season dream getaway dressed in classic coastal
style captures the nostalgia
of cottage
living.
But sometimes we are influenced by the climate or part
of the country we
live in, the
style of our home, the furnishings we have, or how the
seasons affect our moods.
We might have to adapt our sit down dining
style or our preparations for the meal to the size
of home we are in or the
season of life.
You can represent that
style in a subtle way through your color scheme, or patterns, or overall
style of furnishings, or a few decorative nods to that
season of life that you love.
Having a sofa that isn't perfectly your
style so you have something to sit on isn't a decorating mistake if it works for your family in this
season of your
life.
Do you strive to find your own unique
style or are you more inclined to copy a popular look that may not even be right for you or this
season of your
life?
My
style has changed and evolved and ebbed and flowed depending on where we
live and the
season of our
lives.
Everyone's home is unique to their
style and family, and we are all eager to show you how we bring in the
season of spring to our everyday
lives.
Once I found what systems and home making
style worked for me and my
season of life, and I made peace with my imperfection, I could enjoy and feel content with the home I had — rather than be overwhelmed or discouraged by it.
This
season, redecorate in high
style with Structube, where you don't need the budget
of an aristocrat to
live like one.
