Lauren thank you for the inspiration — I had to shoot an outfit with a new wool cape today for next month... I didn't know how to style it so I went with double denim (flares and denim jacket) and it looked awesome!!

For the shoot we had them done up at the waist with the matching belt, so to mix it up I styled them today tucked down at the waist.

They started coming into style last year so I gave them a shot.

This look is definitely GOLD for me not just because of the color of my hoodie but also because it was shot and styled on a day that made me so strong and resilient.

Kate is known to be a fan of her style and look, so it's no surprise she should channel it in a glamorous shoot.

For this look, i styled my LBD with a jacket and pop socks but later in the shoot i felt the pictures weren't looking good with the socks so i took it off.

As y ’ all know I love photography and have been shooting part - time on the side for a few years now, so I'm always looking for ways to make my images better and for new ways to look at styling images.

Nautical designs are probably top of my favourite style themes so the print on this dress makes me happy, and while the Joni has a flared skirt rather than a full circle I was still able to fit a slim petticoat for this shoot.

But they come in handy when styling photo shoots, so I only parted with a few of them.

We love it when a styled shoot not only looks adorable and is photographed perfectly, but when it comes off so easy to recreate.

So we were thrilled when she welcomed us back to shoot a style story with her.

But um, yeah, so running after this guy made it straight up impossible to get fully styled for this shoot, so forgive me.

Shooting for The Corolla was so much fun because I was able to show my personal style on the Alabama campus!
