Unfortunately, it would be really tricky to
sub the coconut flour in this recipe, since coconut flour is so different than any other flour.
I've not
subbed coconut flour in this recipe.

Coconut flour is very different than almost any other
flour and can rarely work as a
sub in recipes that weren't designed for it.
I am not sure how
coconut flour would
sub in this
recipe, because it is completely unlike arrowroot.
I haven't had very good luck with
subbing eggs
in coconut flour recipes.

Almond
flour and
coconut flour require different moisture levels than many other gluten free
flours, so just
subbing them
in will throw off a
recipe not originally written for them.
I did a double
recipe, and to save a little money on the almond
flour,
subbed in a cup of
coconut flour.
I just made this... I doubled the
recipe... I
subbed the buckwheat with
coconut flour... I was also listening to «Across the Universe» soundtrack very loud... I think I made a mistake and added to much
coconut flour so things were VERY dry when I first added water... I have a very thick bread that does not seem to be done
in the middle... BUT it is still terribly delicious!!!
Coconut flour is an excellent high - fiber
flour that works
in a variety of
recipes, but is not a 1:1
sub like cassava.
I wouldn't recommend
subbing it
in your regular -
flour recipes; start with THM
recipes that are written for
coconut flour.
