subbed the
walnuts for pecans (because lazy and poor) and topped the whole shebang with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel.
I added a couple tablespoons of coffee
for extra flavor,
subbed hazelnut and
pecan flours
for the almond, added
walnuts, and cut out the cacao nibs.
I also
subbed whole
pecans for the
walnuts.
Cranberry - Orange Walnut Bars: same as above but omit cinnamon and almond extract;
sub chopped
walnuts for almonds and
pecans; add 1/2 teaspoon orange zest;
sub dried cranberries
for dried cherries
I just made this loaf
for Easter dinner — didn't have
walnuts so I used
pecans and almonds;
subbed more oat flour
for the breadcrumbs, and completely forgot the flax egg... Whoops!
Swap out the black beans
for white beans,
sub the
walnuts for pecans, tahini
for PB or coconut oil, ditch the coffee altogether + sweeten as you like.
The only
subs I made was palm sugar
for agave, and I didn't have
pecans so I used
walnuts....

i added a bit of oil olive to the dough and
subbed pecans as i didn't have
walnuts and used 1/2 bread flour and doubled the recipe as i wanted a super mega size loaf, going to use it
for turkey sandwiches along with a tomato soup, can't wait
