Paths may not lend itself to the studious dissection that Kubrick's
subsequent movies do, but it does have its fair share of interesting directorial decisions.

Although Chappaquiddick doesn't address Kennedy's
subsequent legislative record, it's the silver - lining storm cloud that hangs over the

subsequent film, UP IN THE AIR, for which he
DID win the AFI
movie of the year award.
It helps that Public Enemies doesn't look like any
movie ever made, aside from Mann's own
subsequent Blackhat.
Written by Max Landis (Chronicle, American Ultra), Victor Frankenstein isn't so much a re-imagining of Mary Shelley's iconic 1818 sci - fi / horror novel, «Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus»; rather, it's an origin story for the eponymous character, as seen from the perspective of Igor (who didn't originate in Shelley's source book, but rather in a
subsequent movie adaptation).
THR's sources claim Mole Man will not make an appearance in this
movie, but the inclusion of Elder
does suggest Mole Man could become a main adversary in
subsequent films down the line.
Robin Williams's biggest blockbuster sprang unsuspectingly on the critics, who didn't cotton to its lowbrow humor, but in
subsequent years the film has grown in stature and was recently voted one of the funniest
movies of all time.
The film chronicles the two - time Olympian's humble origins, her marriage at the age of 19 to Jeff Gillooly (played by Sebastian Stan, who decided to
do a little promotional work for the
movie on his Instagram page with... mixed results), her rise to stardom, and her
subsequent fall from grace.
While the initial film offered moviegoers one of the most original twists in
movie history, the
subsequent sequels have
done little to mix - up the formula, instead relying on an increasingly violent set of gut - wrenching set - pieces that escalate the brutality and shock with each new installment.
Despite all those advantages and the fact that among such similar pairs the second
movie to open has generally performed better, Olympus Has Fallen surprisingly performed significantly better than the
subsequent White House Down,
doing more business both domestically and abroad despite minimal difference in critic and moviegoer sentiment.
While the
movie didn't exactly
do an impressive job at the box office, its
subsequent home video releases have made it its own kind of underground hit.
