I substitute the espresso powder with something else?
I'm thinking of
substituting espresso powder.

If you can't find it, you can try
substituting 1/4 tsp or so of
espresso powder (found in the coffee section of any grocery store) to add that mocha flavour, or just leave it out altogether.
If you are not a fan of the taste of coffee you could
substitute the
espresso for cocoa
powder which would also result in a delicious cheesecake.
Due to the contents of my kitchen I ditched the caraway seeds,
substituted coco
powder for the chocolate & instant coffee for the
espresso.
If you do not have an
espresso maker, you can
substitute the
espresso pod for strong brewed coffee or
espresso powder.
But - I
substituted the Kahlua with the same amount of whiskey and added a tablespoon of
espresso powder from King Arthur Flour that I've been waiting to try.
