You do need to get creative with a few recipes to be able to
substitute usual ingredients with what is allowed in a Paleo diet.
Not exact matches
As per
usual, I waited until the last minute to go grocery shopping for the
ingredients, so I was unable to find brined green olives or preserved lemons at the last minute, but I
substituted regular canned green olives and capers (per one of these comment's suggestions).
Since there is always one or two
ingredients I don't have, as
usual, I had to
substitute onion powder and garlic 2:1 for the shallots, old fashioned oats (ground) for the bran, and red wine vinegar and water 2:1 for the apple cider vinegar.
