I am
substituting less vanilla extract for the coffee, and using dark 54 % and 60 % cacao chocolate to attempt to mask the coconut a bit =) It will be my first time using coconut flour; I will try to remember to let you know how the substitutions worked!

I wanted to make these lower in sugar so we only used 1/2 cup agave and
substituted a little
less than 1/2 cup of unsweetened
vanilla almond milk (what we had in the house), and added about 2 tablespoons of stevia.
3/4 c. butter 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 c. apple juice 1 t.
vanilla extract 1 c. all - purpose flour (depending on your preference we
substituted three tablespoons of ground flax seed for 3 tablespoons of flour, you can definitely do more or
less!)
