Though I watched the film a second time with
the subtitles activated to better parse its aural tapestry, both the dialogue and narration sound clear and resonant.
The Blu - ray is also equipped with Universal's uHear feature, which will let you clarify a missed line with the touch of a single button, rewinding to replay the just passed moment with
subtitles activated.
Still, at least it differs from just watching the scenes with English
subtitles activated.
Not exact matches
One small but important note; though most of the film is in English, some of it is not and the needed
subtitles were not
activated by default for me on my first viewing.
Dialogue can be quite muffled at times and though you can
activate a
subtitles stream, don't expect to find anything in it.
Subtitling exists (although, for some reason, needs
activating for each individual item watched on my Fire TV), and although Amazon and Apple seem to be having a ridiculous spat that means there's no Apple TV app, the impact to users is minimal since Amazon's iOS app has full AirPlay support.
While all new media will get automatic
subtitle downloads without any intervention on your behalf, you'll need to trigger a refresh of your library so the OpenSubtitles agent will
activate on all your old media.
