I recently added
a subway tile wallpaper to my kitchen backsplash (check it out HERE) and I can't believe what a difference it made.
Today is a day we are sharing our DIY

I think my favorite thing is the gorgeous floral

I did some «budget - friendly» renovating of my kitchen 2 yrs ago, stripping old
wallpaper, putting in the
subway tile backsplash, adding bright white beadboard halfway up walls and on the existing white cabinet ends, painting the rest of the walls soft white (sometimes looks very very pale yellow).

In the kitchen, rip out that horrible
wallpaper trim andbacksplash and replace it with a white
subway tile.

In the dogs» area,
subway tiles and a floor drain make easy work of cleaning up messes; a Tyler Hall
wallpaper of dogs driving convertibles adds a dose of fun.
I think I'm going to have a half wall wainscot of either painted wood panel or white
subway tile — and then on the upper half of the walls I'm planning on using a patterned
wallpaper with a lot of blue in it — not only to coordinate with the bedroom, but also because these prints have a nice coastal, nautical vibe to them - perfect for a beach house.
