When Lhota unveiled
his subway turnaround plan, he said that he would «do everything I can» to convince de Blasio to agree to splitting the $ 836 million cost of his plan and struck a conciliatory tone, indicating he is «all ears» for any of his concerns.
The governor has committed to his half of
the subway turnaround plan and, Fix NYC, a panel he formed, unveiled a congestion pricing plan in January that includes the installation of a zone pricing program — beginning with trucks and subsequently for all vehicles — entering Manhattan's central business district below 60th Street.
The governor said the state is making money available to contribute to the MTA's
subway turnaround plan — and wants the city to do the same.
