successful lifelong learners, responsible citizens, and productive workers.
These improvements, known as «wraparound services,» have been
successful in other turnaround efforts, notably the Harlem Children's Zone in New York, where families get free access to an array of health and nutrition
counseling as well as after -
school programs, truancy prevention, literacy
programs, financial advice and domestic - crisis resolution.
