A Washington appellate court has ruled that failure to include
a sufficient description of a property in a sales contract is a violation of the statute of frauds, and thus the agreement is void.
If the populations - based
description is not
sufficient, the user can have full control on the definition
of the astronomical scene by providing one or more input catalogs specifying the
properties of each individual source, including position, brightness, and, for extended sources, size, elongation, orientation, and light profile (in the form
of a Sersic index).
Among other provisions, the Statute provides that every contract which transfers an interest in real
property must be in writing, and also requires that the
description of the
property must be
sufficient so that oral testimony is not required to locate the
property.
