post a new entry and I receive a comment by a person who tells me that «yes, the

One issue mentioned in Ed's
post which I hadn't considered in my previous discussion of the flavored milk issue («The Chocolate Milk Wars») is the possible behavioral problems exhibited by students as a result of consuming so much
sugar from the milk, especially when combined with other sugary
foods offered in school.
It may come as a shock (though not so much if you've read my other
posts) but they all eliminated grains,
sugar, and processed
foods.

So unless your workout intensity is through the roof you may wish to only obtain protein throughout
food sources and perhaps try out some
sugar - free BCAAs instead pre or
post workout.
This is a huge topic and I can not begin to cover it in a single blog
post, but as a general rule nutrient dense
foods tend to be one ingredient natural unprocessed
foods as opposed to processed
foods which often have a huge caloric content from added
sugars, or are so highly processed there is very little actual nutrient content left.
