sugar and fat, which make them appealing to our taste buds, but often leave us craving more.
I believe it comes from avoiding
processed and packaged

etc. and also taking holistic natural products that enhance the body.
You can go cold turkey
and give up all the junk
food,
sugar,
processed food etc. all at once, or you can opt for a more gradual change.
And a healthy plant - based diet will consist primarily of whole
foods, not
processed foods like oils,
sugars, flours,
etc..
Get rid of anything that is not allowed on the diet (flour,
sugar and sugary snacks, bread,
processed foods,
etc.) to avoid temptation.

sugar that comes from eating too many desserts, sweet coffee drinks,

There is nothing here that you haven't already heard before: prepackaged
and processed foods contain tons of
sugar, no one knows anything about nutrition or endocrinology, people can't control themselves so we need public health legislation,
etc..
Another idea is to give the child supplements like DHEA, Fish Oil, Zinc
etc. and / or restrict diet to no
sugars, no gluten, no
processed foods,
etc..
