Fri, Jul 14 @ The Jay House, 6 - 9 pm Free 4th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay Norte Maar returns to its summer home in the Adirondacks presenting the 4th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay: an exhibition featuring a local and regional selection of works in clay.
We went up to the Adirondacks recently to visit the summer outpost of Norte Maar for Collaborative Projects in the Arts in Jay, New York, where founders Jason Andrew and Julia Gleich were hosting the weekend - long Jay Invitational of Clay, which they started, as well as an evening of performances to benefit the Ausable River Association, and an Ausable River Valley Studio Tour.
This summer, Norte Maar will present the first annual Jay Invitational of Clay: an exhibition featuring an international selection of works in clay curated by Jackie Sabourin in collaboration with The Jay Craft Center (which celebrates its 40th year!).
We have also initiated an annual summer juried invitational exhibition called UnBound!
