Every July we offer a three
week summer vacation scheme to a limited number of students who consider themselves to be potential solicitors.
Following the completion of my LPC at Northumbria University, I took part in the Square One Law
summer vacation scheme in June 2015 and started at the firm in September 2015 along with Hayley Davidson.
I remember Stephanie Hartshorn (then head of graduate recruitment) saying to me during the
HSF summer vacation scheme in 1999: «When you walk into a firm, you will just know if it is right for you by the feel of the place and the people you meet.»

How do I apply for a place on

We make every effort to ensure that the students who attend
our summer vacation scheme obtain a genuine insight into life as a trainee solicitor at Wedlake Bell.
We regard
our summer vacation scheme as a prolonged interview for training contracts and a significant number of our trainees are recruited as a result of participation in our summer vacation scheme.
The deadline for applying for our spring &
summer Vacation Schemes is 7th January 2018.
For
our Summer Vacation Schemes, the dates are 18 - 29 June and 2 - 13 July 2018.
