summery dress weather is finally here!

Feeling a bit bloated from water retention, I decided this white boho
dress was the perfect solution: dressy enough, definitely
summery enough, and perfect for the
weather.
But I think all is not lost, and here is why: those
summery dresses I've been wearing with cardigans in the 70 - degree
weather?
As it's almost June it's that time of year when I
dress in
summery prints and cuts regardless of what the temperamental British
weather is doing (read as: most of the time it's a bit chilly and kind of dull, but I'm stubborn and wear what I like anyway.)
The
weather this weekend was phenomenal and I decided to
dress in all of my
summeriest pieces the entire time.
This Dana Tropical Print
dress is beyond adorable and making me year for warm
weather to have a
summery garden party with my besties featuring tropical cocktails, while the Jean border print
dress and skirt both feature such an authentic feeling print that it's giving me grabby hands.
I love my maxi skirts and
dresses, but don't wear them too often in cooler
weather since they usually have
summery connotations.
Good Monday morning, I'm back in London after a fab weekend in Paris and as the
weather turned out to be fantastic I ended up improvising in the last minute before the wedding on Saturday and slipped into the most
summery dress I brought along, though I'm normally not into yellow I kind of like this paler shade, it's from H&M.
The initial outfit that I planned when the meet - up was announced consisted of a black wool
dress with ice blue accents, including a blue wide brimmed wool felt fedora, but when the
weather report announced the day was going to be an incredible 85, I had to rethink my ensemble, and ultimately went for a rather
summery «State Fair» look... oh well!
