Absolutely love the
look of brick on the floor and am considering it for my
sunroom, but in the kitchen my concern is that I've heard it's really hard to stand on for long periods of time, read that in a decorating mag.

look awesome but I thought the vertical made the room
look a little larger and draws the eye to the those tall
sunroom windows and will
look especially good if you decide do the fireplace as you've shown.
BUT... it works great in a
sunroom with rugs and less footware surface and you get the
look... or brick a back patio that can be hosed down!!!!!!
