This recipe was perfect for
my super picky kids!
I've mostly mild many times and no one has ever noticed any spice at all (including
super picky kids that whine about any spice).
So for us the first day of Lent meant lots of Pop Tarts (surprisingly most varieties are dairy - free — weird), Campbell's tomato soup, bananas with peanut butter, Jell - O, and for dinner, always Chinese takeout — shrimp or veggie fried rice or lo mein (and to be honest, for me it was white rice and soy sauce — I was
a super picky kid).

The inspiration for this recipe came from an urge to create a
super quick and easy dinner for
PICKY kids (like the
kids I babysit.).
My
kids loved them and they are
super picky eaters!

picky kid eaters and I think this is a brilliant way to sneak things like pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, and other
super nutrient rich foods in.
Not only did I get my two
kids (5 years old and 23 months old) to eat it, but I got my
super, SUPER picky husband to eat it
