Kind of strange for us to both love a snack, as I typically prefer
salty snacks, while Truckin» Man loves
super sweet
foods.
I don't like being
super restrictive with my diet, because then I'm more prone to crave those sugary
salty foods.
Start with simple steps by repopulating your gut flora with
super drinks like kefir and beet kvas, eat fermented vegetables daily, liberally consume bone broths (properly prepared — see Nourishing Traditions book by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig), eat grains that are only properly prepared (soaked for at least 12 hours in
salty and slightly acidic water), make sure your diet consists of
foods rich in vit.
Avoid packaged
foods as much as possible, as they tend to be
super salty (canned soups are particularly bad, even the organic ones!)
