food hamburger meal and the bread and cup of the Lord's
Supper.
In an era of daily reports about a global
food crisis, perhaps it is kairos time for the church to extend the table, to view the Lord's
Supper not only as commemorating that Upper Room meal, but also as remembering Jesus» feeding of the multitude.
Therefore, the church must be attentive to the myriad of seemingly little things that it does to make people feel a part of a community — the daily, unspectacular acts of caring and living together: the hospital visit, the covered - dish
supper, the birthday card, the hour spent preparing
food at the church's soup kitchen.

supper for breakfast and leftover lunch for
supper we eat a variety of
foods depending on the season (the vegetables in our veg box change every week so we get the variety without too much planning on our part) and how we're feeling — so if we're cold and tired then we prefer cooked
food and when it's hot we enjoy plenty of raw
foods.
