ESY Special Education Teachers work under the direction
of the IEP service providers to
support students throughout their school day, ensuring a safe and productive
learning environment.

learning that allows all
students to use their minds well in school and
throughout their lives.

support for the instructional coaches» development work and the successive rounds

Since 2011, six national organizations, along with the U.S. Department
of Education, have been working together to
support labor - management collaboration in states and school districts
throughout the country for the advancement
of student learning.
Throughout this study, Kathy and Susan stated many advantages
of using technology in classroom instruction: reaching a variety
of learning styles, differentiating instruction, providing visual
supports, providing new experiences, and motivating
students.
While effective teaching practice is being embedded
throughout the school, we work with school and district staff to design formative assessments to capture
student learning, and we oversee the implementation and progress
of instructional interventions for
students who need additional
support.
Regular professional development and coaching
throughout the school year for teachers and leaders to
learn how to align curriculum and instruction to the
student assessment system, structure ongoing professional development, and create a culture
of revision to
support student learning.
As with all
students, these
students with special needs deserve a least restrictive
learning environment that lifts the ceiling, fuels their creativity and passions, pushes them to make continuous progress
throughout their academic careers, and
supports them in the fulfillment
of their personal potential.
Together, teachers are constructing more nuanced understandings
of the new demands
of the Common Core State Standards in these areas and
learning about what it takes to
support their
students throughout the developmental continuum.

student works with experts / critical friends during field - based
learning experiences, and have the added benefit
of the
support of a mentor

of their two - year study.

learning stage to provide a real life context, either as a starting point to gain an understanding

The CASP membership is comprised
of individuals who work in school districts, and in private practice
throughout the state, helping school personnel — teachers, administrators, and counselors —
support student education and solve related
learning, social, and adjustment problems.
