Hey Jeremy, I am not
sure if it is a good thing to mention other
bloggers books and podcasts on another's blog but here goes and please forgive me if I did wrong, I think it would definitely help Brady and others if they read the
book by Frank Viola and George Bana called «Pagan Christianity».

books.
If you're curious about promoting your
book on Twitter but you're not
sure where to get started, search for favorite authors and
bloggers you enjoy, and begin following them.
When searching for
book bloggers, make
sure you look for reviewers in your genre and that you read any submission guidelines provided.
Sure, it is still hard to attend bookish events if you are on the other side of the world or even to get physical ARCs, but it's not something that stops a reader from become a
book blogger.
The thing is, I completely get it, for all the reasons you listed — I've read enough self - published
books that obviously weren't copy edited (or were really, really poorly copy edited) that I don't buy them anymore unless they were recommended to me or I've already read by that author, so as a
blogger, I certainly wouldn't put in the time without being
sure!
Once you start getting great results from your newly formed associations with peer fiction authors and
bloggers and you start seeing loads of new subscribers who are dying to know more about your
books, make
sure to interact with them!
I think given that many
bloggers aren't trained journalists and blog part - time or as a hobby, PR folk probably need to mindful of that and check in with the
bloggers after they've had a chance to familiarize themselves a bit with a
book to make
sure they're still on board (and also letting them know it's okay to back out if they aren't interested or offer fair criticism.).
Many
bloggers are willing to review a
book in exchange for a complimentary copy; just be
sure to check out their website first to make
sure it looks credible!
Ask
book bloggers you find on social media, but make
sure you develop a relationship with them first.

So be
sure key
bloggers get a copy of your
book!
We appreciate it even more when
bloggers link to either an online bookseller and / or to the author's website; when linking a
book to an online bookseller, please make
sure to link to the latest edition of the
book which will always be the paperback edition if there is one.
And
book bloggers need to make
sure they make it easy for authors to provide them with the information they need — after all, we need each other!
Just like the
book blogger wants to get the best
books and authors possible on their site, you want to make
sure to get the best
bloggers for your
book.
From my perspective as a
book blogger, it would be better if, instead of directly messaging me with an open - call approach, you scheduled regular tweets advising people that your
book is available any time to be reviewed, and make
sure that your Goodreads profile states that, too.
The first thing you need to do before emailing any
book bloggers is make
sure their blog is a good fit for your
book, and vice-versa.
Making
sure you have the time to dedicate to a VBT, providing
bloggers with all the information they need, saying thanks, being creative, and letting people know you're on a virtual
book tour, will make your experience a lot easier too.
Make
sure that the topic of your
book relates to what the influencer typically posts about (i.e. a fashion
blogger is not likely to review a
book about financial markets).
Each
book they receive goes through a manual review to make
sure it's a good fit for their readership, as well as making
sure it's something that their network of
bloggers and reviewers would actually have an interest in.
The RWA has also found that readers buy online based on seeing the
book available (so you need to be
sure that it's distributed to many third - party retailers, not just BN.com or Amazon.com), reading about it online (which is why you should connect with
bloggers, readers, writers — spread the word!)
Depending on the author and the blog, coverage may consist of any of the following:
book review, Q&A (either posted or live) or
book giveaway and then I'm
sure some
bloggers have gotten creative and come up with other ideas.
