Yes that isn't a problem at all, just make sure that you cook them at 30C or dehydrate them until hard again before you use them for this recipe, as it won't work if the nuts are too soft and wet.
The recipe should make the right proportions so I am not sure why it worked out differently for you.
Hi Natalie, I've only ever made this recipe with vanilla powder before so I'm not too sure about the flavour or ratios for vanilla extract but I imagine that it should work well too.

Glad to see that you used this for chicken tacos instead of beef tacos because that was my plan too but I wasnt sure how a beef recipe would work for chicken.

When I first attempted to work on this, I wasn't really sure about the idea of an egg-less recipe without substituting it with chia or flax meal but while reading the book, The New Enlightened Eating by Caroline Dupont, I found her egg-less Banana Bread recipe.

If you would like to use another flour, please make sure it is a whole grain flour (gluten - free flours could work but you will need more of it called for in this recipe).

Hi Hillary, the recipe will work for sure but I can't verify the flavor will still be caramel like as I have not tried it with maple peanut butter.
I've practiced and tweaked the recipe that I found over and over until I'm sure I've found the combo that works for us.

This next recipe would be great as a tapas style meal or as a starter, they're best served hot but are still pretty delicious cold too, so you could take them to work for lunch (just make sure they're refrigerated).
