Sept 25 Today a much mellower day.The wind started to blow offshore around 10 O'clock and conditions cleaned up quickly on the low
tide.Still some solid waves in the 6 - 8ft category.A crew of about twenty
surfers sampling the goods on The ledge and Moneytrees.Again, wave selection being the key.The afternoon
high tide session went down
at Moneytrees on a slightly dropping swell, but still some well overhead waves on offer and most of good quality.

tide showed waves to be in the head
high plus range and the odd double overhead coming through
at Kongs and some nice ones hitting The Ledge and Moneytrees.Some very long rides were had by the new crew of
surfers that arrived this morning.Still a good mellow vibe in the water and plenty of waves for all.The afternoon low
tide session was again in good condition and a good days
surfing was had by all and everyone anticipating a further rise in swell.Was also nice to see a visiting crew of Balinese
surfers from Uluwatu enjoying the fruits of G - Land and all
surfing at a very
high level.
A natural seawall made from the lava of Mauna Kea has formed rock pools, which fill
at high tide and make for excellent swimming, and beyond the seawall is a popular
surf break that attracts both locals and tourists alike.
In the afternoon the winds were still blowing west and the
surf was still pretty small out front with a boat on it
at this point, so we went back to Burgerworld in hopes that the
high tide might make it a bit better than this morning.

at the time, but Middle Reef was reeling off some nice looking head to well over head
high waves for the 3

Surf Camp Sept 30 G - Land today awoke with a good solid 4 - 6ft swell, so head
high to double overhead sells hitting the entire section of reef.Nice morning waves
at Kongs for the early morning risers in the overhead range, then as the
tide quickly filled in and the offshore breeze blowing form the early mornings started to liven up.
