One of the biggest hurdles for surfers as they advance from riding in the whitewater to trying to learn how to
surf unbroken waves is where to position themselves and the importance of paddling hard for the wave.
The surf stance is a very important part of surfing once you get to the point where you are
surfing the unbroken waves (wave faces).

surfers do not want to spend much time.
If you already know

unbroken waves then this is the package for you.

Unlike beginners, who are mostly restricted to
surfing on broken white
waves, private intermediate lessons focus on more advanced moves like
surfing on green,
unbroken waves before they crest.
The hardest transition in
surfing is progressing from riding the whitewater, to getting «outback» in the big stuff and cruising along «green» or
unbroken waves just like the pros.
However, if you are in reasonably good shape, even as a beginner you will be able to
surf unbroken outside
waves in Itacaré in the winter, when
waves tend to get bigger.
