survey of teachers includes 131 items.
Looking at teacher ratings of school climate, school openness to parents, and district support (from Round Two of the teacher
survey), we find once again that
as poverty and diversity increase, teachers «ratings of climate, openness to parents, and district support decrease (see Table 1.6.1 below, and
Appendix C1.6.1).141
The
appendices will include tables that provide the complete 2015 - 2016
survey data obtained from every state,
as well
as Head Start, child care, U.S. Census, and special education data.
Respondents also reported their political self - identification (Democrat, Republican, Independent, or Other / none of the above), educational attainment, and environmental concern, the latter of which was borrowed from the same earlier
survey and used here
as a brief, one - item measure (see
Appendix for question wordings).
As part of our
survey, respondents were asked to identify the sources from which they obtained funding from a list of Australian Government department funding bodies including the Indigenous Land Corporation and Indigenous Business Australia.27 The list of funding bodies is contained at
Appendix 2 of this Report.
