SWAPS: skip the cotija / feta cheese (it's totally optional anyways) and using sugar
or maple syrup in place of the
honey.
You can
swap the peanut butter for any nut
or seed butter, you can
swap the nuts and seeds for any combination of either /
or you like, you could replace the
honey with
maple syrup or agave and use any dried fruit your heart desires.
Swap out the
honey in the dipping sauce for pure
maple syrup or agave
syrup.
I've sweetened it with agave
syrup, because I like it best for nut milks, but feel free to
swap it for
maple syrup,
honey,
or something else if those are more your style.
I like mine less sweet so I
swap quantities: 1/3 coconut oil, 1/4
maple syrup or honey.

To make a breakfast cookie healthier (AKA: breakfast - friendly), white sugar is
swapped out with
honey or maple syrup, white flour is replaced with whole wheat flour and /
or oats, and veggies

or Splenda if you prefer) and you can
swap any syrupy sweetener for agave nectar,
honey,

BUT if you are very adverse to using it, try
swapping it out for
honey or maple syrup.
I want to make these cookies again and experiment with
swapping out the brown sugar for
honey,
maple syrup or Truvia / stevia.

If you would like to alter this and make a more noticeably sweet cake, simply
swap the rice malt
syrup in this cake to
honey or maple syrup (these are both sweeter gram - for - gram than the rice malt
syrup, so either will work - stick to
maple syrup for a vegan cake).
