With sweater season in full swing and layering season upon us, that also means that my denim gets even more use.

of sweaters this season — it's refreshing to have some really new pieces to add to my wardrobe!

sweater season just days away, I've been figuring out how to transition my favorite trend from summer into fall.

favorite sweaters this season here, here, and here but I wanted to round up a bunch that are budget - friendly whether you're braving the cold in New England or throwing on light layers down south.
And since all things pumpkin are already sitting in our neighborhood store shelves, I can't help but want to eat them all and pretend like it's big
chunky sweater season over here already.
I have had my eye on so
many sweaters this season — I love the color of that open front cardigan and the OTS burgundy sweater is so perfect for fall.
This year,
sweater season brings with it a slew of exciting restaurant openings that will make putting away the beach chairs a little less painful.
But there are some fun details, like laces, pom poms and balloon sleeves that
make sweaters this season a little more unique.
Since sweater season is upon us, I've brought out all of my favorite knitwear pieces, and especially love this chunky one I've had for years.
I've actually been bummed by all the warm weather we've had because there are so many
cute sweaters this season, with bell sleeves, ruffles, and super comfy oversized styles.
I'm extra excited

While I've been enjoying summer whole - heartedly over here, I've been noticing that for the last few weeks, everyone and their mother has started to talk about fall — whether it's craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte or dreaming
of sweater season.
Now without further adieu, I took one of my
favorite sweaters this season — this fuschia number from The Mint Julep Boutique — and paired it with black corduroy leggings (warm!)
